GSK’s El Salam City pharmaceutical facility is one of the company’s two manufacturing sites in Egypt.
The plant supports local production of medicines as part of GSK Egypt’s large-scale manufacturing operations, which produce hundreds of millions of packs annually.
The facility has undergone structural upgrading, including a new steel floor, reinforcement of existing steel and concrete elements, and seismic-resistance improvements.
The project also included geotechnical investigations, shop drawings and supervision to enhance operational capacity and structural safety.
