AstraZeneca’s pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in 6th of October City has been operating since 2006 and serves the Egyptian market.
The industrial facility was developed on approximately 28,000 m², with around 6,400 m² of built-up space.
It includes pharmaceutical production, packaging, laboratories, administration, raw-material handling, warehousing and technical utility areas.
The plant forms part of AstraZeneca’s strategy to expand local manufacturing capacity and support access to medicines in Egypt.
